For the exhibition at the Cartier Foundation, the Brazilian artist Beatriz Milhazes present a selection of paintings, but also an installation on the facade of the building, commissioned specially for the occasion. Consist of a superposition of abundant ornaments, paintings are vivid and hypnotic reference to colonial baroque, to modernism and Brazilian folk art.

The The American photographer William Eggleston presents a series of photographs of Paris, commissioned by the Fondation Cartier. The great master of color photography shows through his work the many facets of the city, revealing the picturesque and cosmopolitan, the sublime and the trivial, the everyday and the extraordinary.

  1. I love paris and the all the art galleries. I remember in October there was a cool art displays outside the louvre and in the gardens. Paris is so full of art not just the historical art but so much modern art as well.
